Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2025 NFL Draft (18 Viewers)

There are a few of us that watch the vids all year that have been saying watch for Tyler Warren in the top 10 for months before everyone else caught on. The guy has crazy upside and is already crazy productive. 3 months ago I was being laughed at for suggesting we pick him at 9….
Crazy productive in college & mainly his Sr. year...

If he doesn't run better than the 4.68 Forty time that he is projected to run at the NFL Combine, I would not use the 9th pick in the draft for him...

If you compare him to the 2024 draft, he compares to J. Sanders & B. Sinnott more than to Brock Bowers & his 4.48 speed...

Fans think that speed doesn't matter but look at Dalin Holker. We were all excited by his UFDA signing after the 2024 draft but he didn't reach near the potential as a TE that most fans expected but he has a 4.78 Forty time. If you watched him this year he had trouble getting separation...

I like Fanning Jr a lot, but I don't like the teams he played against. His team played some trash teams, and he was just the best player out there. Dude looked like a man amongst boys, but he dominated and that's what you are supposed to do.
You can only go up against who your scheduled to play, and he more than dominated.

No trades this time. Got a bunch of pieces for Kellen Moore to work with(both TCU WRs). Hard to see Bech falling that low after the Senior Bowl though, but there are other good WRs in that range.

Warren and Bowers are completely different archetypes.

Bowers is your elusive fluid athlete. Who wins by route running and natural feel of the game. Sure his speed helps but it's his fluidity that makes him special.

Warren is stiffer but significantly larger. He wins off his ridiculous size advantage. He doesn't need to create the separation Bowers does because he can just physically dominate his defender by virtue of being 3+ inches taller and 40lbs heavier.

Loveland going before Warren is wild.

that is the opposite of all the trends I've seen.
Yes and no.

I've had Warren above Loveland for months but many of you are comparing stats without keeping situations in mind.

Loveland is TWO years younger. True junior vs 5th year senior.

Warren was a literal nobody at the age Loveland is heading into the draft. In theory you have significant growth ahead of Loveland.

Loveland was also in the worst situation in CFB but still managed to put up excellent numbers.

In fact Loveland is responsible for a larger share of Michigans passing yards than Warren is for Penn State. If you flip their teams who knows how good he could have been.

Don't sleep on Warren's natural athletic ability... I think he will test better than most assume he will... Also, if you haven't.... go watch some vids of him playing basketball.

Ive watched almost every game of Penn State this year and im not trying to say he's a poor athlete by any means.

That's just not how he wins but that's absolutely fine because he's a massive specimen who excels at boxing out defenders.

Loveland just as a comparison is a much better route runner and fluid athlete.

He's a young 6' 6" 260 Lbs version of Taysom Hill that can "play above the rim" and is an actual fit at TE and occasional X-WR.... It's like Jimmy Graham and TH7 had a baby... That's what I see.

I don't hate the Taysom comp especially because one of my biggest concerns with Warren is how often he's a body catcher instead of a hands catcher similar to Taysom.

Not sure I agree with that based on how many one handed lobs I have seen him catch both on the court and on the field... sometimes a body catch is the safe catch... (Over the middle - Side line 1 on 1 - Some back shoulder)

I think he's a perfect combination of Jimmy Graham and TH7 mixed into one player. I also think he's going to be one of the best 5 players taken in this draft when all is said and done...
