Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2025 NFL Draft (5 Viewers)

I don't trust any mock site that would have Tet or Mason dropping to the middle of the round. What say you, @Snakehead ?

Agreed. I think the mock draft simulators are pretty volatile right now since there isn't any runaway #1 overall prospects. It's really going to depend on who ends up at #1 overall and what they need. There's also no #1 QB prospects and Ward did not help his cause today.

I mosrly used Mock Draft Database last year, but this year I started with PFF for tha advanced stats, however they don't have all the players and their picks aren't updated with the trades. I did my fist Mock Draft Database Mock just now.

Your comment above about Fuaga moving to RG is what I had in mind for this draft. If Will Campbell was having a better season, he might be the #1 pick as the #1 LT in the draft. He's only available later b/c he's having an off season. I used that to my benefit.

I traded back 2 times picking up additional picks. This draft addressed many positions of need with BPA.

Assumptions.
- No QB is running away as #1. The case was made above that Ward is Rattler and we already have Rattler. I won't draft a QB, we have 3 on the roster to bridge/evaluate.
- Draft a LT and move Fuaga to RG.
- Olave is done. We have no X WR unless Means is the guy, but that's too small of a sample size and he’s missing development time.
- We need a 3rd RB in this offense.
- We have no playmaker do-it-all TE.
- We need beef on the O-line and D-line.

Due to the number of picks, I had to make 2 screen shots. I doubt we have tgus many picks, but this shows where guys are available at certain picks and what can be done with a deep draft.

I think moving Fuaga back to right guard would be a better spot for him and makes us so much stronger on that outside

There are a limited number of people in the entire world who can play OT in the NFL (maybe around 60) and you want to move one of them to guard where there are maybe 5x as many who could play that. It mathematically doesn't make sense to me.

There are multiple film study professionals who thought Fuaga would be moved inside once drafted. I saw one that said his NFL comp as a guard was Jermon Bushrod. It's not that "out there" of an idea, but I can understand your trepidation.

Is anyone else getting Milroe taken too top 10 in every draft?

I meant right tackle! Sorry

Fair enough.

I wouldn't be adverse to bringing in a proper left tackle, with where we are picking in the draft, and letting Penning be a back up or let him go. ATM he is sort of a below average option.

But yeah, its hard to find a Tackle these days, the DE being so fast and powerful and guys having to have such long arms.

Now that we are out of the top 3, it was trade down city today. This was my favourite draft. Got my 2 favourite receivers and favourite TE. OL help. Some DL help. My favourite pass rusher. And a sneaky good RB.

I'd rather move Fuaga back to RT if we draft a LT. Penning has been okay, but he still has some pretty major issues in pass protection. Maybe you move Penning to Guard or maybe you just let him be a backup, but I think it makes more sense to have your best players at LT and RT. Then Penning can compete for RG and LG. And you can usually get a good guard in the 3rd or 4th in most drafts. Then you have Penning, Saldiveri, Ruiz, and the rookie competing for the 2 Guard spots and solid backups in whoever doesn't start. And then Penning provides depth at RT.

The other positive is that you don't have to give Penning a big contract to keep him when his rookie deal is done.

Think this is my favorite mock I've done outside of landing Tyler Warren in round 2 which I highly doubt happens. No trades, straight up with early focus on shoring up the D and O lines with blue chip talent. Kennard is a steal in the 3rd round, Henderson has 1st round talent at RB with plenty of tread left on the tires. Not as high on Mason Taylor as some here but him combined with Brooks should open things up between the 20's and hopefully provide some solid redzone targets as well.

No trades and pretty much BPA. Double dipped on WR, TE and DL while also addressing the interior OL and DE.

If we can grab Mason Taylor that late would be amazing. He’s a really good TE. Lacy would be a good #2 or #3 WR with McMillain being the #1
