Moore's QB types seem to be accurate passer and able to scramble and run the ball which to me leaves Sanders out because he has no pocket presents and holds the the ball to long to protect his passer rating and takes too many sacks. We can all agree Ward will not be there at 9 so besides Dart what other QB best fits Moore's QB type?

What makes you think he has a "QB type"? He's always just worked with that his team has had versus drafting or picking his QB in FA.

Dart does

Shough does to an extent. Not as much of a scrambler but he can get a 1st if you turn your back

Moore worked with a scrambling QB for one season. Pocket passer was his QB for 5 of 6 seasons as OC. He adjusts his scheme according to who’s his QB.

Only Milroe is a clear rushing threat at QB in this class. Most QB prospects who has some mobility won’t be the next Hurts or Allen in the NFL. Not realistic to expect them all to be effective mobile passers as pros.

Yeah, I don’t expect Moore will put himself in a box by limiting what he’s looking for. And if he’s as good as we hope, he won’t have to.

We don't know CKMs "type" of QB. He's never CHOSEN one. He's just worked with QBs already on the roster and made them better than the players he found. That's part of the intrigue with this draft. Saints staff is obviously geared for QB development; Saints have been doing homework on seemingly EVERY QB in this draft; I've seen enough to be convinced they are taking a QB. I'd rather see one fall into our laps, than create an opportunity, but I'm pretty convinced they're taking one. They're expending way too much effort, energy and resources to present a front of "mis-direction". There's MUCH easier ways to do that than what they're showing. The plan is to take a QB. Which one....I haven't a clue?! LOL!

Type? He's worked with every type, so where is this coming from? Technically, he's worked with more prototypical pocket guys (Dak/Herbert) than mobile ones. Although he won the ring with Hurts, many people think he's not an elite pocket passer.

I remember when mobile QBs were viewed as injury prone and gimmicky. Now every prospect seems to be over-compared to Hurts & Allen. Some QBs are 1 of 1 as dual threats. There’s 6 elite scrambling NFL QBs, 4 were drafted top 10. Teams would be fortunate to get day 2-day 3 QBs as good as Drew Lock or Gardner Minshew, which are the max outlooks that most of the 2025 2nd-5th round QBs appear to have.

It's kind of a loaded discussion that has evolved but still has certain biases underlying it. Technically, Hurts is the first non-classical quarterback to win a ring, although, if we're being honest, Steve Young did it decades ago (Unitias?). You don't want your QB being exposed to clean hits, no matter how big they are.
"Make him beat you from the pocket" is still the strategy that D coordinators employ or preach when it comes to guys like Lamar, Josh, and Hurts.
I find it ironic that the son of one of the most gifted athletes in pro sports was trained and raised to be a pure pocket passer and now his perceived lack of athletic ability is a knock.
QBs are judged on their pocket ability and winning on third down, that hasn't changed. One reason Philly won the ring is that teams stacked the line on third and dared Hurts to beat them. He made critical plays against Washington and the Chiefs on third down.
Despite all of this, I think the prototype is a pocket guy with a decent athletic ability to scramble when the protection breaks down.
