More data on Staley's departure from the Chargers (12 Viewers)

I think the great quality Payton had when he coached here, was that he seemed to always have the “pulse” of the team. He knew what buttons to push and when. Sure he barked when a player committed a turnover or had a penalty at an ill opportune time. But there was the other side of the coin…. NFC championship game and his conversation with Hartley just before the game winning kick. Positive and negative reenforcement is what worked with him and the players. Hopefully Moore brings that as well, but in his way of doing it.

You can get respect without yelling at people. What would be delegated is the guy that really get's in people's faces. It's not necessary for the HC to do that and I'm not certain it's necessary for anyone to do that. There are many ways to gain respect and be a leader.
Nope, you have to do the heavy lifting yourself as HC. I didn't say anything about yelling, you did. Several great coaches were not known as yelling guys. Bill Walsh and Tony Dungy come to mind.
