More SEC: Alabama vs Arkansas (ROLL TIDE ROLL!) (2 Viewers)

There is no doubt that Alabama will break into the Top 25 after a come from behind win against 16th ranked Arkansas in Nick Sabans' coaching debut in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night. The Bama faithful are most assuredly encouraged by the performance by their team and especially that of John Parker Wilson who engineered a flawless drive with no time outs remaining to score the go ahead touchdown in front of a sell out crowd at Bryant Denny Stadium. Coach Saban will be the supreme being and savior for a team that lost it's last four SEC matchups and it's bowl game last season. That is until he gets caught calling someone from Alabama a redneck trailer tennant or God knows what. He's a great coach but he's a ****** bag. And you thought I was really writing a sports story.

Geaux Saints

Wow, stopping the clock for measurement essentially won the game for Alabama. That was ridiculous. He was clearly short of the first down even after that very generous spot. It's a shame that such a great comeback by Arkansas was ruined by the refs.

Home cooking.

there was not pass interference in the endzone...ref doesn't make that call and its 4th and 7 and bama loses.

Oh well, Bama can be happy with this shallow victory until the Tigers come into town and knock their head off.

That was a bunch of crap also.

Terrible officiating and totally biased toward Bama.

Bama will be a a solid favorite to beat UGA so now we will see how Bama reacts to being a favorite on national TV.

WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Alabama won that game fair and square. The clock measurement didn't matter, because Alabama would have clocked it or threw an incomplete pass to stop the clock.

Still think Saban did a stupid thing?

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!

I have never seen you use that many exclamation marks Steve. :hihi:

I know you were excited.

I'm glad they won.

It will make it even sweeter if they continue to win for when the Tigers meet up with them. :mwink:

Its not what Saban did, its how he did it.

And congrats ahead of time to breaking Auburn's winning streak of the Iron Bowl. I don't think anyone will be fearing "the thumb" this year

It's funny nobody even mentions that obvious PI against Arky that wasn't called with a ref looking right at it. Even the announcers couldn't believe it wasn't called, so it didn't go all Bama's way.

What about throwing the ball when it was 3rd and 7 and Bama with no timeouts? If we ran the ball, we burn off another 35 seconds at least, and Bama doesnt have the time to come back.......

Instead, the incomplete pass stopped the clock with over 2 minutes to play......

Not smart.

At any rate, congrats to Alabama, they beat us fair and square......
