Most Disappointing Sequel?

forgot about us marshalls. i loved the fugitive. love tommy lee's character. hated the sequel.

i was really pumped for that one too.

:hihi: you watched Havana Nights? :smilielol:

Nope. I just based it on the fact that the original Dirty Dancing can not be topped.

Nobody puts Baby in a corner!

:covri: My wife LOVES that movie....... and I hate it about as much as she loves it.

My wife loves it too, it's her favorite. I don't particularly care for it but I can entertain myself inserting my own dialogue, also it's fun to make fun of Patrick Swayze, my wife doesn't particularly care for me to watch with her now for some reason.

hahhah yeah I sat through most of it one time because she practically begged me, but after my comments she really never made much of an effort to make me watch it again :dunno:

:hihi:

Truly, sorrow is a sea about me, out of which I may never swim.

What was great about the first Matrix was that it could've happened in this very universe. The second and third? Not so much...last I heard, us humans don't have magic powers to zap Squiddies with our bare hands or 'see' evil AI programs when our eyes have been burned away.

Having Neo be able to bend the rules in the Matrix=cool. Having him be Mr. Magic in the real world=lame as hell.

I thought that Reloaded was actually pretty entertaining until the ending, when he does the 'mind over matter' thing with the sentinels. If Neo would have had some type of 'wireless transceiver', it would at least be plausible(he's hacking into the Matrix and ordering the sentinels to self-destruct) but they didn't bother even doing that. As it were, I agree with you that the contrast between the 'dream world' and the 'real world' that was done so well in the first film was utterly destroyed in Revolutions.

Thats cause they went from having subtle Christain undertones in the first movie to having major Christain overtones in the sequels. By the time Matrix Revolutions is half way through they might as well have called Neo Jesus Christ. Ok...we get it, he's the savior reborn sent to sacrifice himself for us all, now show me some more bullet time face punches!

i enjoyed all three of the matrix movies....

BTW, neo had somehow left an imprint of himself in the matrix before unplugging......thus giving him the "magic" powers to stop the squiddies

i believe neo was engineered. He was suppose to be born he was the 6th or 7th version. he could just have the ability b/c he is part machine and the matrix uploads his conscience anyways.

I really enjoyed them until the end... they spent all this time fighting, the all of a sudden, its, hey, lets all get along..... kinda made me disappointed....
