N/S Bill Belichick doesn't care what the dam score is (1 Viewer)

Belichick should have pulled Brady with about 10 minutes to go in the game. That is a recipe for getting your franchise QB hurt.

The Pats will probably get another chance to play the Jets in the playoffs. Shouldn't a coach save something for that next meeting? Seems like BB pulled out all the stops in this one. What new things could be left to spring on the Jets in the next (and most important) meeting?

I agree Brady should have been pulled in the 4th quarter. Not really out of sportsmanship, but mainly because its unnecessary to risk the MVP franchise QB once the outcome of the game is already secured. But Belichick has shown throughout his coaching career that he will keep scoring as much as possible.

They've given up a lot of 4th quarter points in big games and this is the first full 60 minute effort from the defense all year. He was right to do that.

Division rival I see no issues with running it up if you can but if I was the Jets I would have brought the house and sacked him as much as possible, not like the score would get any worse at least make him pay lol...

Tom Brady doesnt play defense?

I would have sat Brady but I think in Bill's eyes he is sending a mixed message if he is telling them to play hard for 60 minutes and the leader of the team is on the bench. Plus I know Brady wanted to get the victory formation, he hates that team.

How are they going to hurt Brady if they're getting virtually no pressure? I loved him running up the score on the Jets.

BB and Payton are the two smartest coaches in the league. They don't need to save anything. What new things can BB do?? Well let's flip it, what new things can Rex Ryan do? They know each others tricks, it's just a chess game to know who will use what and when. And I'd put my money on BB in any of these matchups. Jets may not even make it back to that third meeting you think they're destined for. Sanchez has proven once again that when the lights are on the brightest he can't deliver.

The way BB is coaching now is how you get a team ready for a Super Bowl. This is the way we need to pounce on teams and not let up like we have these past 3 games.

I dont care about that, you know these 2 teams will meet again in the playoffs,Pats got into in the heads of the Jets Coaches an Players!!! teams dont forget Butt kickings like this. This is Exactly what I want our Saints to do this weekend.Wish they would've scored 50 plus on that Big Mouth Rex Ryan!!!!!!! I bet his big behind keeps that Fat Trap Shut NOW:ezbill:...Love'd all 60 minutes of that game!!!

It's just not belichick's style to pull anyone in the the 4th..when will people get this?

There have been several blowouts where we haven't pulled Brees.

It's not that crazy.

Maybe if Payton had given our team this same speech we wouldn't have bad teams come back and take the lead... only to have Brees save the day.

Time to get that old killer instinct back... we get up on a bad team 20-6 we should then go up 34-6 just to erase any confidence they might have.

WFAN just asked Jerricho Cotchery about Rex talking about how Bill ran up the score, his response was, "Did you hear how much we ran our mouths this week, why wouldn't they, I would."

Ha! Cotchery is a quiet guy... I think some of Rex's brashness has rubbed him the wrong way.

The thing (to me) is... Rex put so much pressure on his team by "being Rex" and he doesn't realize it. he thinks the bulls-eye is on him, but in actuality his team is the guys that opponents are gunning for.

I didn't watch their Hard Knocks this Summer, so I don't know what the team was saying, but Rex does alot of yappin' to the media, and teams aren't letting them slide.
