i think you can get concussions before NFL

I’m kind of tired of everything being pointed at concussion. Brain injury experts are literally rolling their eyes at this story. People can’t be responsible for their own deeds anymore. It’s gotta be X...the drug, the environment, society...it’s a joke

just to be clear, i'm not saying it's b/c of concussions - i have absolutely no idea why he did these depraved things - i was pointing out that concussion scan occur before a professional football career

BUT, since you brought it up, if you're pushing back against "it's gotta be x" as in an external contributing factor
the alternate is toeing up to the "born evil"line -and you might as well blame demons or witchcraft if you're going there

I didn’t say he was born evil. I don’t know him well enough to say what the heck went wrong...but with my experience dealing with psychiatry...when you see stories like this there are typically pre-existing personality disorders in combination with an Axis II diagnosis and/or substance abuse. I’ve cared for many people who have MRIs that look like their brain is mush for whatever reason...and you don’t see them out there killing and raping. I’ve seen HORRIBLE TBIs in our wounded Warriors...and again, it’s incredibly rare that you see ASPD behavior, and when you do it’s an amplification of pre-existing symptoms. I’m not going into a long drawn out religion debate with you...my time is way too valuable for that futile crap.
