Yeah, I wasn't intending to shoot the guy down. I was genuinely surprised by his stats. And the Pats don't have a lot of talented WRs after Edelman. At the end of the day, he still does have the cloud of substance abuse concerns over him. Those years off may have made him a mere mortal. I dunno.To be fair, with the Pats, Brady didn't target him much for whatever reason. But when he was targeted, he usually made the most of it.
I just looked at his career stats, and he had one monster year back in 2013. I know he had the substance abuse issues, but he really didn't do much other than a solid rookie season. And with the Pats and the mighty Tom Brady, he was pedestrian. I wouldn't be too eager to go in that direction. He has 20 career TDs and that is with 9 in 2013.
