N/S Texans' Schaub To Miss Several Games [MERGED - UPDATE OUT FOR SEASON]] (1 Viewer)

Stinks. That was Atlanta's only difficult game left outside of our game with them.

this.

i hate them because at almost every bar i go to to watch the Saints play, the main tv has the Texans on and the sound on so i can't hear what's going on in the Saints game.. i hate them because of the stupid roadkill logo on their helmets.. i hate them for their gay name-- 'Texans'?? Why not just name every team after the state they play in; the Tampa Bay Floridians, or the the Seattle Washingtonians, or the St. Louis Missourians... they all sound about as logical as 'Texans.' :jpshakehead:

HAHAHA!!! OMG!!! SO THIS!!! I always say this to texan fans... Why is that their name?? One of the dumbest names i've heard. If they are from houston, shouldn't it be the houstonians??! lols. Than i tell them, aren't Cowboys "Texans" too?? Hahahah. They usually really get fiesty at that point. :p

The Lis Franc injury is sure becoming common suddenly or is it only being diagnosed by that name more often now where as before they would have just said "broken foot"?

They are throwing Schaub under the bus on ESPN radio in Houston.

Saying he wasn't doing much anyway and that Leinart can do most of what he did.

The Falcons still have Tennessee, Tampa Bay, and Carolina on the road as well as New Orleans. Houston can also still run the ball and they still have one of the best defenses in the league.

I don't know what your expectations for the Saints are, but I don't think we'll lose more than twice down the stretch.

We have a one game lead on ATL right now if they win Sunday. Even if we somehow manage to drop behind the Falcons, we're still in good shape as long as we're within a game of them going into 12/26.

I don't think the Saints will lose more than two more games this year and I do not think ATL, or any team for that matter, can beat us in primetime at the Superdome.

Matt Leinart has his 2nd chance and had better make the best of it. They could be just fine. Really too bad for Matt S.

When your passing game has been relatively non-existant since AJ has been out, and you have 2 running backs that can put up 100+ yards on any given day - i think the Texans will be fine - especially in that Manning-less division they play in.

They'll just end up one and done in the playoffs unless Leinart suddenly has a magical morphing into Steve Young.

Kubiak will generate points even without Schaub. Wade will also be ready to play his former team. Texans should still beat Atlanta.

Texans still have the #1 defense as far as yards, and I think points per game, go. Foster and Tate are beasts, and Andre Johnson should be back soon. Leinart basically just has to do what Alex Smith is doing in SF. Smith doesn't have one of the best WRs in the league to throw to though.

They're more likely to lose shoot-outs now, but they still should get 10-11 wins.
