I would love to see this happen. Ever since AT&T bought DirecTV, Sunday Ticket has been an overpriced mess. I've seen a few articles saying Amazon is indeed interested. How likely is it to happen? Also, does anyone know when the DirecTV contract to carry Sunday Ticket ends?

Directv has it till the end of the next season. I wish they would just let it go now. Here’s a good read on it:

Probably not for 2021 (although it's more likely that it will be closer to that $185 number than $180).

But I'd expect future years to jump quite a bit closer to what the normal cap would've been.

It depends on how they want to negotiate it. They can always put the money form next year into this to give 2 smaller raises rather than a huge one next year. If the owners go for it there’s no reason the players union wouldnt
