8:30 pm update: Oddly enough, I've only heard one of the loud, mortar-type fireworks. Most that I'm hearing right now and smaller things off in the distance. I wonder if people just aren't spending as much money this year on fireworks?

It's going nuts now lol, luckily the ppl who live below me aren't home w/ their tiny dog that yaps constantly, I imagine it would be going absolutely bonkers w/ all of the explosions going on outside...
