Time for the Saints D to shine against Chicago who is #4 on the list!
NFL.com article by Gil Brandt:
RANK 7 -SAINTS
2019 RANKINGS
Points allowed: 11th
Yards allowed: 10th
Against the pass: 11th
Against the run: 14th
Teddy Bridgewater should be commended for his work leading New Orleans to a 4-0 record in Drew Brees' absence, but the heavy lifting in New Orleans in that span has been done by defensive coordinator Dennis Allen's group, which has limited the Saints' past three opponents to less than 257 yards each. Just consider what they did to the Cowboys, who were riding high as an offense coming into their Week 4 matchup but have not looked the same since failing to put more than 10 points on New Orleans. Cameron Jordan (5.0 sacks) is a fantastic pass rusher who doesn't get enough credit, while second-year pro Marcus Davenport (3.0 sacks) is starting to come on. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore is producing at an elite level, and safety Vonn Bell is having a breakthrough season.

Patriots, Bills, Niners, Bears among top NFL defenses of 2019
Gil Brandt ranks the top eight defenses of 2019 so far. Are Stephon Gilmore's New England Patriots on top? What about Dee Ford and the upstart San Francisco 49ers?
