After my injury in 2009 when I twisted and snapped my leg, I couldn't watch injuries for years. I started watching them again for awhile, but now I'm back to not watching them.

I do have my injury on video so I could watch it since I know how it felt, but I don't like seeing others go through that pain.

On the bright side, if you were still recovering in early 2010 you had some pretty compelling TV to watch.

But to your point, I can understand not wanting to watch that based on your experience.

I did, that's for sure. I was in Japan and broke it on a late hit cheap shot playing LG in Northern Japan. I taped it up and walked on it so I could get back to my base near Tokyo. I remember riding on the bullet train and holding my leg and shaking it to watch is flop side to side thinking that sucked b/c I still have to walk on it to include going through the subway station in Tokyo.

That was as brutal an injury as I’ve ever seen.

That looks like one of those career ending injuries. I know medicine has come a long way but that doesn’t look good.
