Yep. He needs to get here to start evaluating the roster before free agency and to get ready for the draft. Not to mention what he wants to do at QB. He also needs to assemble his staff, but I suspect he already has a lot of that done.

That is my thoughts exactly. Payton never did that. Even scumbag Jerry Jones allowed his assistants and encouraged his assistants to upgrade. This is pure disgusting on his part.

All of the roster evaluations Moore can do right now, he can do from anywhere that he has a computer with a broadband connection. He doesn't have to be in New Orleans for any of it. The same is true for everything else. He doesn't have to be in New Orleans to call coaches about staffing or to get up to speed with the Saints regarding free agent and draft evaluations.
