No love for Devery? (1 Viewer)

there should be alot of devery/lsu haters eating crow on here today and i don't see it. You all want to dish it out to other teams when they are proven wrong so let's hear it.

You can really see the difference he makes on offense when he's out there flyin' around...hopefully he can stay on the field more.

He had a great game but was overshadowed by Colston. I expect him to light it up in the next few weeks. He's got rockets...

I have already apologized to Devery in another thread!!
I will do it again.
Devery, I am sorry for doubting you!!
I won't say anything negative about you for the rest of the time that you are a Saint!!!
The crow gumbo was ok, just needed to add a BUNCH of garlic!!! :)
Congrats on your best game as a pro/Saint...
You helped the TEAM win today, big time!!!!

Great game Devery.. sure wish I woulda known whether or not he'd see much playing time cuz I shoulda started him in Fantasy.

I'll take the W for the Saints over a W in Fantasy any day though.

This was the type of game we were always hoping for. Maybe he can keep it up. I also have to take my hat off to Cooper -- on 3rd donw he made an amazing catch to keep the 3rd quarter drive alive

He just has to become consistant. Past history is that he'll disappear for 3-4 games now.

I hope he continues to step up, we need him.

strong work guys...well most of you. can you believe how deep we are at WR??? and have a great qb too!
horn - vetern, great route runner, emotional leader

colston - rookie sensation who really reminds me of TO before he switched to the dark side. (in SF)

Devery - the deep threat nobody knows about

Bush - who reminds me of steve smith when playing WR

copper- he's not too bad either

I'm just glad he finally caught something besides his flight back home from away games.

I never saw Devery play in college, and frankly, I could give a flip that he played at LSU. Didn't Cecil Collins play there too?

But I've always thought Devery should have played more, especially under Haslett. When this guy is on the field, he just makes plays. In Haslett's defense, there is clearly something in him that betrays the confidence of the coaches...not that he's a bad guy or anything, but both Payton and Haslett seem to have an issue with him.

From what we saw yesterday, his speed on the outside opens up an entirely new dimension to this offense. He needs to get more playing time.

Yesterdays game shows the importance of devery to the passing game and I hope he realizes that.
