My guess is that those who suffer from ignorance-induced fear regarding Obama didn't bat an eye when Dubya cozied up to Bob Jones during the 2000 campaign. As long as ignorance, hate, and intolerance are dished from a white guy purporting to be a Christian, it's OK.
