Commanders had terrible drafts before this year if i recall right.No....
They had years of high draft picks to stock up on talent THEN hired the right staff.

Those are the exception rather than the rule. And of course, they revamped their front office and staffs before all that happened.
Oh, so you want to tank/lose for several years. No thank you.No....

Even when fate was shepherding us to a better draft pick we have to pull this sheet
Ahhh So we should lose and suck for 50 more yrs then be good like the lionsWe suck right now without any future ahead what do you mean? LOL.
I mean, they were playing the Giants...and the offense misses Hill, like, a lot. They we competitive against the Rams and I think that game took a bit of the wind out of their sails a bit. But let's see how they respond next week against a decent Commanders team.
I see 5-12/6-11 especially if carr is seriously hurt.Going in I felt like there were still too many possible wins left on the schedule to even be concerned with this.
We aren’t a truly bad 4-13/5-12 type team, even with today’s performance. Just can’t see us being bad enough unless the injury bug hits again, including at QB.

Agreed. All true. I'm just saying they have played a bit better, and have certainly won more, but they haven't really played well and this is a much easier schedule than they had before. And DA was without Hill for a lot of games too.
My basic thought on Rizzi has always been that he has to go at least 6-2 to be a serious contender for the job and I still think that's true. But more performances like today aren't likely to get him to 6-2.

Did the defense switch to zone in the second half? It looked like it and the DBs were awful. Giants receivers had 2 or 3 Saints DBs around them and still were wide open. Just terrible secondary play in the second half.Call me a downer all you want but this is the worst win I ever witnessed. Horrible play by the offensive and defensive line. We allow 3 4th down and long play. We allow a 2 point conversion. Hardly any sacks
I am not sure but our rush was awful and we didn't hold any containmentDid the defense switch to zone in the second half? It looked like it and the DBs were awful. Giants receivers had 2 or 3 Saints DBs around them and still were wide open. Just terrible secondary play in the second half.
Thanks.
But you got those on here who will still crucify you for pointing out the obvious.I think people wanted a QB that could carry the team at times as we see out of a lot of upper tier QBs in the NFL. He can't do that. He's decent to good under the best circumstances, but when we lose he is almost always a part of the problem. That isn't hate for hates sake. I think most of us wanted him to succeed.
