Post your thoughts about the LSU-OU game here. I can't see their D slowing down the Tigers that much, and I think we have plenty enough D to stop enough Sooners drives to keep the game out of reach for OU. Hurts and Lamb can do some damage, but Hurts also turns over the ball a lot, and I think LSU will be able to frustrate him by causing some fumbles and snagging some picks, whereas I see Burreaux having another Heisman-like performance. Geaux Tigers!

Honestly when hasnt Burreaux had a Heisman like performance this year.
At this point, he is just gonna be himself because his norm is that level.
Dude rewrote some major records while playing one of the toughest schedules in college football history
From now on call it the Burrow Award

Burrow has an excellent chance of doing two things this game exceed 5000 yards passing and 50 T.D passes. Insane numbers for an SEC QB that has to face future N.F.L players on defense week in and week out. From what I understand Oklahoma's defense is pretty porous this year.

OU actually has a pretty solid defense compared to what they normally have. They're not going to stop the issue though. They need to worry about their turnovers. LSU is going to score a lot, so giving them extra possessions isn't a winning strategy.

I agree it’s improved this year, but if Georgia’s D couldn’t stop us, I don’t see OU having much success against us.

No chance. I lol'd when UGA lined up 3-1-7 on the first few plays of the game and then quickly got out of it. If AU + LSUs penalties didn't beat LSU, I don't think any defense can stop this team.

the 2-3 games i have seen them play, they look to be undisciplined a bit. With all the motion, splits and personnel packages LSU rolls out, i would expect a good bit of blown assignments.

the line opened at 6.5-7 and now upwards of 12-12.5

I fully expect a good cushion win, but Aranda likes to play prevent in the final half of the 4th if we are up big, so they could snag a TD or 2 to back door a 20-24 pt lead.

Well, our average points per game against all of those defenses was 48, so, while that includes the worst defenses we played, I can easily see us scoring in the high 30s or even putting up a 40-burger on OU. I don't think they will be able to do that to our D. https://lsusports.net/sports/football/stats
I'll be surprised if LSU doesn't score 40. Iowa State and Kansas State were able to put up over 40 on OU.

Folks, this is the season I have waited for all my football-loving life. While it's true that the college football playoff system could be made better (imho), what we have now is by far the best thing we have had in the history of college football to settle the score about who really is the 'best of the best' among the major college football programs around the country. There is really nothing 'flukey' about any of the four teams who are vying for the title this year, and the eventual winner will have to prove to everyone that they are worthy and truly deserve the National Championship this year.

That said, I refuse to allow myself to believe that the Tigers have this title sewed up already. While I love LSU's chances to come out on top, I certainly need to remember that no matter how badly I want my team to prevail, anything can happen. And all but one thing would be a genuine heartbreak.

But if LSU can skillfully execute two more great game plans against two more of the top programs in the nation and come out victorious in both, it will simply be (for me) the best season that LSU has ever had or (likely) ever will have. This is it! I don't believe any future story will ever top what is unfolding before Tigers fans right now!

Never before has the LSU football program been part of so many records and postseason awards, both as a team and for individuals on & off the field. If the story of this year was written as a Hollywood script, it would be considered pure fiction. Though I will be proud of everything that we as fans have been treated to, no matter how it ends... there is no way that any other season could overtake the feelings & meaning of this football season if the Tigers are the last team standing and are hoisting the Dr Pepper Trophy in the Superdome on January 13, 2020!

Yes, this may become the season that will forever be known to LSU fans as being the undeniable 'As Good As It Gets' football experience of all time! And I won't mind for one second that I was around to experience it!

Ill call it. LSU will beat OU easily, but allow garbage points at the end of the game to make it seem closer than what it really is. Then they skull **** tOSU.

Burrow talks **** to Chase Young before dropping 400 yards on his former team. tOSU is out of it so fast, they're just at a loss because this is a new situation for them.in 2019. They score a couple trash TDs, but the announcers for both games will talk about how bright the future is at LSU whole they watch Myles Brennan play a couple series in both games.

Just thought to myself it is going to be weird to turn on the T.V Saturday afternoon and not have a full slate of games. At least Army-Navy game comes on. They have had some good contests these past few years against each other.
