ESPN has the 2004 Sugar Bowl Oklahoma v. LSU right now. Man, forgot all about Skyler Green. Good to see Devery. Surreal to see Nick Satan in purple.

I remember that game well, especially Lionel Turner's 4th down sack of White to put the game away. The SEC Network just aired a special on this year's LSU-Alabama game. Still can't believe how good CEH was in that game.

I watched it too

I hate Saban for beating us too much but I never hated him for going to Alabama. He left LSU to try the NFL....nothing wrong with that. It isnt like the LSU job was an option when he went back to college.
The fans who really had a reason to hate him was Dolphin fans...he forked them over

And passing on Drew Brees was the best thing Nick Saban ever did for Saints fans. While I'd like to believe that Coach Payton would have eventually found a great QB to run his offense, the odds seem pretty low that another player could have become the QB that Brees has been for us. Saban's move was quite literally a franchise changer here in New Orleans.
