With the common opponent being Texas, I'm expecting a close game. Should be a pretty good game. Don't underestimate Hurts moving the chains.
Sure, LSU is the favorite but I'm sure the Sooner players are gonna play with a chip.
I wouldn't doubt if OU players run their mouth pregame to get the Tigers poed.
They'll try to change ur focus.
I'm also expecting less points this game with the time layoff.
One thing to watch, ou may try the T.O.P game to keep the possessions limited for the tiger O .
Respect every opponent or bad juju results.
I'm a PA girl so I gotta root for them but I'm not emotionally invested.Memphis vs Penn State is a poor substitute, but it is football . . . sorta.
I know OU pretty well. Their pregame 50 yard line trash talk takes ur players away from the task at hand and makes ur players play stupid to start the game. Focusing on what was said rather than the game.Sure they respect OU. I would be surprised of OU tried to rile up LSU pregame. That would remove the chip that they would play with.
My mom was from Monessen, PA, a rust belt town just south of Pittsburgh, so when I was a kid I rooted for Penn State, especially when they were perennially playing Alabama back in the 70s for national championships. I still root for them, but I don't have near the feeling for them that I have for the Tigers, as I grew up in Baton Rouge and then New Orleans (where my dad is from). Looks like Penn State will beat Memphis pretty comfortably, although I like the Memphis QB and their moxie.
