***Official Saints @ Cowboys Game Day Thread***
Happy Thanksgiving Day all Saints fans, and who dat! Our Super Bowl Champion Saints are now Arlington, Texas, to play the Dallas Cowboys in their first Thanksgiving Day NFL game appearance in franchise history. Reggie Bush also returns with his potential to revitalize the Saints running attack and offense. Gametime and kickoff from Cowboys Stadium is right after 3:15PM Central Standard Time.
Cowboys currently, and unfortunately, lead the all-time series over the Saints 15-8, and the Cowboys overall are 27-14-1 in their annual Thanksgiving Day home game since the tradition started in 1966. Cowboys also defeated the Saints in their last regular season meeting 24-17 at the Louisiana Superdome back on Satuday, December 19, 2009. Saints though defeated the Cowboys in their last visit to the Metroplex 42-17 at Texas Stadium in Irving back on December 10, 2006.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will announce the TV commentary along with field reporter Pam Oliver for The NFL On FOX's nationally-televised game on HD, including WVUE FOX 8 in New Orleans. Jim Henderson and Hokie Gajan will also announce the live radio game play-by-play and analysis simulcast in New Orleans on flagship stations WWL 870AM AND 105.3FM, and the Saints Radio Network.
Besides no injuries and very few penalties and turnovers to the Saints during the game, I also wish everyone today to be thankful, grateful, and blessed as you celebrate this Thanksgiving Day watching football with your family, relatives, and friends. Let's see and hope our Saints leave Dallas with a win on Thanksgiving.
We also want to honor our US military personnel who are watching this game on FOX we appreciate you sacrificing your time and serving our country, but also away from your own families and friends. We hope all of you also also a normal Thanksgiving celebration there are we do here, and wish all you a Happy Holliday. Be safe, and hope you come back to the USA safely, and strong mentally and physically!
We hope the Saints return to Cowboys Stadium later in the postseason to defend their championship in Super Bowl XLV in February 6. GEAUX SAINTS, BEAT THE COWBOYS, AND WHO DAT!!!!! :saintshelmet::saintshelmet::saintshelmet:
