COMMENTS:
1) Overall I like the new board now that I'm kinda used to it. I do have a little trouble visually because it's a brighter background than I'm used to. A little harder on the eyes IMO.
2) The RSS feed is a very cool addition!
3) re: spell checkers, although I haven't used it, SpellBound can be used for Firefox users. I agree that taking spell check functionality out of SR.com and putting it on users' browsers is a reasonable expectation. The tools are out there and free.

QUESTIONS (I checked the pertinent Stickies I think):
1) Regarding the tooltip or alternate text that displays when you mouse-over a thread topic in the SSF main page, can that be changed to go back to the old behavior? You used to only see the tooltip if you specifically moused-over the topic's link, currently it displays if you mouse-over anywhere in the topic's 'cell' (to use a spreadsheet term). I find it really distracting and annoying to have a tooltip popping up over topic titles as I'm trying to read them. Maybe it's just me.

2) Is there a setting that makes threads you've replied to have a unique icon like the old board?

Yes - In your User CP - find the section that describes "Subscriptions" If you check "subscribe, but do not notify" you'll see a little envelope on the right hand margin of the thread title on threads where you've participated. (On the old board, it was a black dot on the envelope on the left.)

If you check off "notify" you'll get emails every time someone replies to that thread - most people don't like to be bombarded like that.

st. brees, you might want to adjust the display settings on your monitor. Right now we're running about 6:1 on board brightness complaints. With the majority of those saying the background is TOO light and bright. LOL.

There is no link to the SR.com Hornets Board...the only way to access it that I've found is to find a post that's been moved there.

Also, I can't find a link to HR.com or BB.com.
