I'm trying to find a video of Julien Alfred being announced and then Sha'Carri. You can see it on Julien's face she KNEW she was going to win and you can see it on Sha'Carri's face, she knew it wasn't her race. She practically had the thousand yard stare, looked nervous and kept looking down at the ground. Hope she bounces back for the relay.

It looked to me that she was struggling to maintain her speed/pace as if she was spent. I don’t think she purposely pulled up. She just looked tired at the end.
