Saturday marks the one-year anniversary of when the NFL introduced the terms "cart-offs," "knockouts" and "bounty program" became common lexicon associated with the New Orleans Saints.

On March 2, 2012, the league office stunned the rest of league and the rest of the sporting world by claiming the Saints maintained a bounty program from 2009-2011 involving between 22 and 27 players and at least one assistant coach.

It's the first time we heard about alleged bounties on the heads of Brett Favre and Kurt Warner. It's the first time we heard "18,000 documents" and "50,000 pages" of evidence. The league also said it used "interviews of a wide range of individuals and the use of outside forensic experts to verify the authenticity of key documents" to come to its conclusion."
