The Saints had 3 TO. By taking a TO there you can maximize time off the clock without snapping at :00, which helps the D get push. If the Saints had not converted, they would have been giving the ball back with about :15 seconds, a situation where every second less can matter greatly.

Let me tell you guys something: this is a cohesive locker room. You don’t pull off this win w/out your main starters w/out your team being “my brother’s keeper”. I don’t care if we win ugly. I care that we win. This game was closer than the it should’ve been due to the refs.

Great to get the win, but it’s hard to feel too pumped about it considering the way the defense looked and the Callaway injury, with Mike and Sanders supposed to miss another week.

Defensive players need to restructure contracts some are making way to much money for not to show up and have no production.

Man this offense is great. Even without two #1 WRs they still produce. Dominated TOP and plays run. Should never have been close. We have to solve the issues with the defense before Tampa Bay.
