Pat Kirwan said he heard Carr didn’t want to do Saints contract restructure (34 Viewers)

The Saints won 9 games (you could argue it would have been 10 had he not gotten knocked out the GB game) with Carr his first season here and that was with the DA stink running things. Is Carr's ceiling the same with Moore as it was with DA?
This notion of ceilings is a head-scratcher. What was the ceiling for Nix and Denver before the season? Or Daniels and Wash before the season. How about the Vikes?

I don’t mean tear down either. This team is running it back with largely the same roster and the additions and losses of players is pretty much the same as what every team does every year. That doesn’t even indicate a soft rebuild to me.

And I get that there were some coaching issues, but these guys didn’t just forget how to play football and at times they looked completely inept on the field.

I still believe Loomis would have given DA the injury excuse and run it back. Nick and Mike have believed a lot of things about what Loomis would or should do that Loomis then did the opposite of.
You are still ignoring the report that CKM and his staff do not think that the roster needs to be vastly changed. LOL SOME coaching issues??? The HC gets fired and the DL coach gets relieved of his duties. That's some coaching issues?? And your conjecture goes against what people have reported what they thought ML would do with DA at the end of the season

So you're saying we should take a shot on a young QB because you just never really know their ceiling?

Of course, but Wash and Denver were firmly in their rebuild. And they didn't have a QB that they felt they could compete with. Also it seems to have been a pretty good yr to draft a QB

In this day and age of football with less and less required of the QB, what does ceiling even mean? With "modern" offenses, I think we should look at the floor and look at the ceiling of skill positions.

Glad to see you were open-minded from the beginning. ( Sarcasm off)
You act like he is a rookie and no one was able to actually watch him play for the 10 years prior. I get not being able to watch a lot of Raider Games down there. But, where I live, they were on every Sunday.

And did you watch the bottom 1/3 defenses the Raiders had all the yrs DC was there? Or follow the inept FO the Raiders had the whole time he was there? And still does

I do not accept Carr because he is not a good QB. He throws a great deep ball. I will never forget him throwing to Olave when we needed that completion. Then he went and ran and blamed Olave. Olave was not even in the progression. Then when Eric McCoy went off on him. When your Center is about to beat you in the middle of the game. You are a problem. That game Kamara had 13 catches for 51 yards. He was seeing ghost, and just checked it down every play. What a joke. Statistically he had an amazing game. That was the worst QB play ever. The Raiders fans have had highlights of him fumbling out of bounds before the end zone twice. Getting stressed and just throwing the ball up. Your reciever was going to twitter talking cash Sh*t about you. He is the problem.
I just want to point out that the above is a good example of criticizing a player within the Terms of Service.

Those of you who choose to continue with the player or front office name-calling (e.g. loser, trash, fraud, etc.), or attacking other members because they disagree with you, are going to start getting thread-banned or temporarily banned altogether.

It's not that complicated. Follow the Terms of Service. Some of you repeat offenders are at the end of the rope. Knock it off.
