Patriots' third round pick done for season with ACL tear (2 Viewers)

Come on man, it's hard to deny what's going on in NE. BB cheats. And cheats big time. He always has and always will. If he had been on a no-name small time team, he would have been run out of the league by now with all that he tries to pull. A while back (and I don't feel like going and finding it or doing it again), I went through all the IR lists every year since BB started an NE and it was STARTLING how often draft picks ended up on on IR every year and later played for the Pats. Off the top of my head it was something like 3 a year. Not players, DRAFT PICKS specificallyNo other team has that record or has players talking about "look out schedules" for a team to practice players on IR.

No it isn't, not even close. As I've said really the only one to contribute anything that I can see is Mike Wright.

You just watch me.

Knock yourself out, dude. I appreciate front office management that does what they need to do to win. If they're smart enough to find ways to take advantage of loopholes in the rulebook, there's nothing to do but tip your hat to them. They are running a business, not writing an ethics term paper.

He still has a chance mind you, but I guess I'm just desensitized to ACL blow outs. I hear of them happening so often, it's just not enough to get sympathy from me I guess.:idunno:
So just because they happen often they're not critical anymore? If you ever had to go through one, you'd think otherwise. This kid is going to be slowed by an injury before he ever gets a chance to prove himself in the NFL.

I agree...

Having gone through it myself, I'm amazed at how quickly guys come back from it now. Yea, they are elite athletes and I'm no where near there. And yea, they have access to the most advance medicine and I didn't.

But my knee still bugs me to this day and it's been several years since I got it fixed.

Hopefully it's not too bad. But ACL injuries can be difficult to come back from... still. It just depends on how sever the tear was.

I can't justify it. That's just how I feel.:idunno:
