But....I-10 is bad. No coach can be expected to win consistently with that traffic.

Payton is going to win multiple SBs with Herbert. They are Sean Payton away from putting the Chiefs in catch up mode.

I cant imagine a scenario where Payton has his choice of jobs and he goes with Kyler Murray. Most overrated, overpaid QB in NFL history.

Meanwhile, we will have people defending Dennis Allens 9th 12 loss season in a row because of the traffic on I-10.

Up for a friendly bet? Winning multiple SBs pretty darn hard. Take away the NE/Brady scenario and the last team to repeat was the New York Giants. And that was a while ago.

Now Payton is 10 times better than Dennis Allen(at least) but he will be lucky to win 1 SB with the Chargers. Especially dealing with Mahomes every single year!

What would you take from the Chargers to get Payton ?

Like I said before, I think it's the Chargers because Herbert is everything Jameis was supposed to be coming in to the league.

I'd take two firsts (2023 and 2024) and a 2023 2nd. And if the Chargers were smart, they'd run to the phones for that deal.

Exactly. Even in the AFC West, Payton alone could put them over the top. They'd be stupid not to throw everything they have to us for him.
