Tuner ran a 6.70 3 cone drill. Von Miller also ran a 6.70 3 cone drill. It’ll be interesting to watch him play to say the least

When you watch Turner play you do not see a first rounder. Point blank period. Just admit the saints messed up. He played in the ACC and didn't dominate at all. He was neutralized by players who will never see a NFL game. That's a red flag. He went in the first just because of his measurables. How does a nfl team take a player in the first with lack luster stats. I don't get it

Tom is playing one more season. No reason to pick a developmental player in round 1 to counter Tampa.
Davenport 2.0 for sure. Maybe he'll be what the Saints thought MD would be haha. I already miss Hendrickson.Worrisome to me, comparison to Davenport.2021 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Payton Turner – WalterFootball

Snippet:
Player Comparison: Marcus Davenport. Turner is similar to Davenport in being a raw defender with a good skill sets and upside. Turner will not get drafted as high as Davenport was, but some teams had Davenport graded on Day 2 and thought the Saints reached way too high on him. That has been proven true thus far. Turner could turn into a solid base end who is respectable but not a dominant sack producer.
