When you watch Turner play you do not see a first rounder. Point blank period. Just admit the saints messed up. He played in the ACC and didn't dominate at all. He was neutralized by players who will never see a NFL game. That's a red flag. He went in the first just because of his measurables. How does a nfl team take a player in the first with lack luster stats. I don't get it

I'm guessing you missed the part where he played DT his 1st 2 years and has only been playing DE for a season and a half....last season he had 5 sacks in 5 games and tons of pressures....about the only thing you can say here is small sample size...

His athleticism is off the charts for a guy his size and wingspan, he also has a high IQ...at 22 years old he is still developing and I think the Saints believe he has a very high ceiling....we will see what happens....

Worrisome to me, comparison to Davenport.

Tom is playing one more season. No reason to pick a developmental player in round 1 to counter Tampa.

Lol they aren't just going to use his skills against Tampa, what is he going to sit the other 15 games?. Be for real man. Pass rushers are hard to find, you should know this. It is just a bonus we have more to rush the passer in a division with Tom Brady and the Superbowl Champs

Davenport 2.0 for sure. Maybe he'll be what the Saints thought MD would be haha. I already miss Hendrickson.
