Penning and or the scheme looked much better tonight. (1 Viewer)

After watching the replay and keying on Penning, he actually played really, really well. And, he only occasionally got help from chips on the edge.

We'll see how he holds up against better DEs with speed. Thanks, Carolina for leaving Burns on Ram's side most of the game! Nevertheless, his play last night was very encouraging.

Ruiz and Hurst had a rough time handling stunts and blitzes. The O-line no doubt needs to improve as a whole, but last night, Penning did his job and did it well.

Agreed.

A contrary to what has previously been stated in this thread...
We chipped on his side a little, but we didn't help him that much.
He did not allow 4 sacks/pressures.
