Think he could be a bit stronger at the point of attack. Otherwise, it's hard to say. He doesn't make as many plays as I would like but that could be scheme.

No he wasn’t. I was here. Thought I would have to drug test the majority bc they were hallucinating and inflating his play.

No there was just a few guys that carried his water. Small but vocal minority.

I think Gay had that shot today but unfortunately got hurt early in the game. He was looking good too.

I don’t dislike Pete as some do but I do think Gay is a baller. Sucks he got hurt. Big fan of his.

He's basically another Shanle. Needs real studs around him to be successful, but will never be "HIM"

He's many times the athlete that Shanle was and just a much better LB. He's not spectacular but he's almost always in the right spot and usually gets the job done. And for a WIL in a 4-2-5 you aren't expecting much more than that. He's probably not the guy you want blitzing from the MLB spot and he's not the thumper that Davis is, but he's a good LB. Gay clearly has more pure talent and athleticism, but with Demario likely gone soon, we could do much worse than Gay and Werner at LBin the future.

I never said to get rid of him....just said I've not been a fan. I've seen him get trucked multiple times. Regardless of his actual numbers he plays small.

I think it’s just the optical illusion of having a linebacker wearing #20. I used to think the same early on in his career, especially when at that time, the current numbering rules were brand new.

Your brain is associating him with the look of a defensive back.
