PFF graded Saints O-Line first in pass blocking after Week 1 (Merged) (1 Viewer)

We talking about trenches. Carolinas D Line was a huge reason they were 5th last season on defense.
Yep.

We can beat DAL!

Just do wat we did vs Carolina! 😂😂😂

But seriously, that’s what we need to do. I’m not expecting a 47-10 margin of victory, but hopefully we can execute our game plans like we did last week: On O, run da ball, take care of the ball n take some deep shots. On D, stop da run, limit big plays, get takeaways. And NO penalties!!!

One things for SURE: We WILL find out alot about this Saints team on Sunday!!!

Reading the Saints forum last week, one would think Carr would be in a whole body cast today.

I don't think we're as deficient at WR and TE as many feared either. When Tipton and Holker get their Pro legs under them, they will add to our offense.
Not just the saints forum, local media too. Underhill and Triplett ranked saints o line bottom 2 in the league.

Underhill and Triplett also said we now had the right scheme to hide a bottom 2 o line. I heard that last week we only had 5 pure pass drop backs for our tackles (no play action, no chipping etc.).

I couldn't be happier that Carr didn't get killed. And I hope we secretly have a lot more talent than we thought.

But it's too soon to tell for a lot of this.

I still believe that are weakest spots until proven otherwise will be at LG and RT, but its really about experience and confidence for Penning and for Patrick he is a serviceable lineman and we need Saldiveri to emerge which will make Patrick the ideal backup for both guard spots.

I think the future is really bright at OL. Especially, If we draft another LG next year and if Ram somehow makes his way back.

Can't wait to see the Week Two grades.

I didn't really see the line miss many blocks at all.

It helps we had what, 18 drop backs?

Minimizes defense chances to pin ears back.

The zone blocking scheme is what we have been waiting for.

Baldy is going to have to break down the entire Saints Oline this week….just saying. :)
