Gary Gibbs clearly can't get it done. So i choose John Mitchell the defensive line coach for the pittsburgh steelers. He has connections to Lousiana and he was born in Mobile, AL. Here is a link to a web page listing his information http://news.steelers.com/team/coach/49264/

Secondary coach for the Eagles.

Jim Johnson disciple (blitz packages....) as well as having coached Brian Sawkins for the past several years. Maybe he can also get our safeties fixed up.

Of course I forget his name.

Coach Cowher. He doesn't want to live too far away from Carolina (his daughters go to school there and they have a house) and I don't think he wants the responsibility and the pressure of a HC job.

i guess this will be the every few days topic thread gets started on for a while.. probably untill a new one is named, my guess.

I like gibbs, don't get me wrong. Also, we have had a ton of injuries but look at the type of players we have and look at the scheme we are running. You can't be mostly man coverage team and have a 5'8'' 165lb corner playing againts a 6'3'' 215lb WR. Jason David only gets picks when he is playing in our zone scheme. Again our outside linebackers and our free safeties are horrible. Gary Gibbs wasn't that great before we had all the injuries.

I ain't rollin with Nolan, sorry

I'd take Rob or was it the other brother Ryan, Dave Mcginnis, dick Lebeau, maybe the db coach from the eagles as someone mentioned on the other suggest a DC coordinator thread from last night.. OP of gullermo(sp)

maybe, the ol or db coach from the titans,
maybe someone under Lebeau?
I want someone whom is accustomed to putting a winner on the field. not someone that is looking to be or is out of work for lack of performance.

Raheem Morris, the DB coach for Tampa who's in the last year of his contract. He'll probably get promoted to DC when Monte leaves for Tennessee, but I can dream.

Any defensive coach from Baltimore. I'd take their defensive quality control intern at this point. I love that defense.
