I love rain. It's a blessing that nurtures everything it touches. It sounds good. It feels good. Rain rules.

Just spent an hour on the deck sitting in the dark, in the rain, in the quiet. Yatwoman is overseas or she would've hectored me inside.

Who else here loves rain for rain's sake?

YES!! I often call myself a nyctopluviophile.

Absolutely!!! ??

It’s a blessing is right! The wine ? vineyards in Cali are burning down. There are, once again, fires ? all over the state.

Rain ? is AWESOME ?

There is such a peacefulness to sleeping to the sound of rain.

i did not leave my bed yesterday, well, i have some kind of stomach bug, though the rain made the day so relaxing.

We bought a house that has a true sunroom in July. Finally picked out the perfect furniture for it and it's coming mid-November. Cant wait to lay in my sunroom and listen to the rain.

I have always enjoyed a good storm but not an all day rain like yesterday. A good storm in the morning that happens on my day off is the only way I can stay asleep after the sun comes up; I value that. But not seeing sunlight at all on a day tends to get me slightly depressed.

It almost nurtured me out of a tv once and is trying for a second time. Otherwise I love the rain.

Growing up we did not have A/C in the house. My brother and I live upstairs and during the summer it was brutal. All windows and doors were left open and ceiling fans were on high, but it was still hot. he and I slept on army cots or in hammocks on the top porch and hoped for a late night summer squall to roll in to cool things off and spray a mist on us. Looking back it wasn't all that bad!!

This is an awesome post! I miss Southern clouds and rain. Different here in Colorado. Right now we have over a foot of snow in Denver, and it makes me want to move to the Caribbean! Enjoy!
