I really wanted to pick "coaching decisions" but then i remembered that frustrating feeling of being absolutely terrified every time the opposing team passes the ball.Knowing that if a 3rd string / rookie QB was starting or came into the game that he would have a career day against us. The Saints have not had a defense worth watching since Haz' first year.Draft defense, draft 2 starters on defense, draft future LBs, CBs, DTs ,etc...I cant stomach watching mediocre QBs treat the Saints D like a celebrity flag football team

MM's knee is the single biggest factor for 2008. He upgrades everything.

Defensive Draft is wrong - the rookies seldom make much impact. We still need it but for following years.

Drew Brees' health is #1, no questions asked. But since it's not on there, I'll say MMK's health is a biggie.

imo it's impossible to choose just one of those things... if i *had* to, i'd go with vilma's health

I agree. For this year, defensive draft is wrong IMHO. There isn't a guy in the draft(dorsey or ellis notwithstanding) who could come in and immediatly start. The offseason moves have that much upside. We do need depth (who doesn't) and that should be focused on the defensive side of the ball. Personally, MM's knee and Vilma's knee are my top two with a slight edge to Vilma. This is only because a corner can only shut down one guy, the reciever he is covering. A MLB affects so much more.
