1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme....Loved that car.
Wasn't that a le Baron?
Was there that much difference between the two?
If she's got one of those Olds Rocket 350s go on and git sum.1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme....Loved that car.
GitUSum was the tag on my 1982 S-10 with the 383 stroker.
Sigh...sold her last year. The truckt had actually gotten to the point where it was not streetable due to it's propensity to overheat, which was a result of the engine being bored .060 over and the resultant thin cylinder walls. The guy who bought her is racing her in Pro Stock up in New Jersey. He put on a set of Weld wheels and drag slicks, and turned an 11.9 quarter.Holy ****. From what I know of NHRA pro-stock, those engines are heavily modified all-motor under 500 cubic-inch. A 383 stroker at 425HP would not be competitive in that bracket. That said, the shop that built the motor said it would run sub-12's with racing slicks, and it did.He may race it , but Pro Stocks run in the 6s ...
