He was good as Simon Templar in the remake of “The Saint” that starred Roger Moore in the 60’s.

It was only a few years after I watched it before I learned that it was a remake. He was really good in the role.

I don't think he got the credit he deserved for Batman either, probably because Joel Schumacher was crapping the bed on the franchise.
