I am still obsessed with the idea of how HUGE of a star Aaliyah would have been, but I was ignorant of her connection to R. Kelly.

Cosby. Well, I don't look for things on you tube or to stream, but we all were listening to his '70s comedy albums so often that it's like a running track in my head anyway. *Thump Thump* CHICKEN HEART!

But I already know that once I uncover the details, I'm going to believe it. I just don't know if it's worth it.

To discover his heinous behavior and possibly deprive myself of the pure, unbridled joy I get from his music in the process.

It's not like I'll ever be buying another R. Kelly CD or going to a concert. Is it supporting him if I listen to music I already own?

The horrific deeds are already done. Why sully one of the few things that still bring me joy? So many questions. So many things to figure out.

Yeah, you probably don't want to see the Surviving.... documentary. A lot of the music is about what he was doing and getting away with. You'll definitely never hear "You Are Not Alone" (the Michael Jackson song he wrote) the same way again. Stomach-turning account of what that song is about. I personally was never into his music. He's talented but his stuff never connected with me. I liked the stuff he wrote for other artists more than what he was releasing. Even as a child, I knew something wasn't right about his relationship with Aaliyah. Then after surviving a sa as a teen, I started to detest him. This guy was literally playing in our faces and nobody cared. He was calling himself the "Pied Piper of R&B" and it didn't raise any eyebrows!! A moniker he adopted from the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. If you read what that story is about you'll see the sheer arrogance of this guy. He was basically saying, "I'm rich, talented and can do what I want in plain sight and nobody's gonna believe these little black girls." For the longest, he was right!

A federal judge signaled on Wednesday that she plans to order disgraced R&B superstar R Kelly to pay more than $300,000 to one of his victims in a decades-long scheme to use his fame to sexually abuse young fans.

A restitution order by US district judge Ann Donnelly that was still being finalized is meant to cover the cost of treatment for herpes and psychotherapy. The victim, referred to only by a pseudonym, has accused the jailed Kelly of giving her the sexually transmitted disease during one of their encounters.

Kelly could be on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars more to pay for herpes treatment and counseling for a second victim once the final tally is calculated. The judge rejected a third claim by another accuser……
