Randy Moss (1 Viewer)

This is a funny parody video on Randy, based on the Manilow song "Mandy."

"Ohhh Randy
Now that you're here in Oakland, you're tanking
Wish we'd send you away
Ohhhh Randy
When I think of the coin that you're banking
Really need you to play
Oohhh Randyyyyy"

.

You guys can say what you want to. But I can vision MOSS on the Saints team and the Saints having the best WR and offense in the NFL. I think this is what he needs. A little southern hospitality.

Picture it you guys: MOSS, CO CO, BREES, MCALLISTER,BUSH,KARNEY,GRAHAM,
AND A PHYSICAL O-LINE THAT WILL MAUL U DOWN FIELD. This would be a dream team and maybe an undefeated season waiting to happen.

I say go get'em Payton. GO SAINTS!!!

You're getting caught up in the talent (as owners and coaches have done as well), and not really thinking through what happens when Colston gets more receptions and looks, or that one game when Drew doesn't look his way or more run plays are called, or whatever. And then there's the random press conference where he says he loves playing for the Saints, but can't stand the city, or thinks Sean could be a good coach after a few more years, or whatever. It's always the things you CAN'T predict with these prima donna WRs.

What if he came here and started donating to charaties and really helping out w/ recovery. He's not THAT bad, i wouldn't put it past him.

As much as I would love to have Moss' talent, I would hate to have his personality. Combine his personality with the fact that he would NOT thrive in the Saints offense like he did in Minnesota*, and I say unless we sign him to a very small contract there is no reason to waste a roster spot or cap room. He has had trouble from High School to the pro's.

*By this I mean that he thrives on the deep pass. We have a receiver in Henderson that does this, and Drew Brees is more of a mid range QB. I also fully acknowledge that Moss would put up stellar numbers in New Orleans given the chance, but his tag will not be worth it.

Plus, Sean Payton judges on character - Moss failed already.

Your friendly interloping Vikings fan here:

You guys do not want Randy Moss, he is very petulant and divisive. For example, at the 2001 NFC Championchip game, Moss quit on the team because the Security personnel at Giants Stadium wouldn't let his dawgs on the field during pre-game, during the 2004 season he walked off the field early when the Vikings were attempting to mount a comeback in the waining seconds of a game against the Washington Redskins.

Randy Moss a Saint? Just say

By "dawgs", do you mean his posse, or was he literally trying to bring a pack of pit bulls onto the field to just hang out?

Just askin'....

Of course you din't mention that the year they lost to the Giants, Moss had 1400plus yrds receiving and 15 TDs in the regular season and scored 2 TDs on the Saints in the previous weeks playoff game. they lost to the Giants 0-41that year, they still would have lost even if Moss played well.
