I've seen the Dregs twice and Steve Morse solo and with Deep Purple three times.

I'm really hoping they come to New Orleans.

I've finally trained my fingers to play Dee on the acoustic, or at least my interpretation of it. It's something I've started and stopped over the last 18 years and I finally submitted myself to it and I'm kind of proud of the result. I feel like 14 year old Brennan who just got his first guitar would be pleased with his future self.

But that's not really the point. Coming back to this challenge reintroduced me to why I obsessed over Rhoads in my teens in the first place. The dude was a genius on guitar and made an indelible mark on rock music.
