While I might understand a team hiring him as HC I don't understand why they would also give him GM responsibilities. He's been pretty terrible at talent evaluation.

Probably the WORST candidate you would want as a GM. Some of his “GM” moves over the years is the reason why his teams can’t compete.

the only possible answers are Florida or California.

So that leaves Dolphins, Bucs, Jags, 49ers, Chargers, Rams.

Arizona and Las Vegas also work for that equation.

But I think it would be funny if he went back to Ohio.

I certainly dont think the Giants are reasonable... there is still a third of NY that hates his guts.

If true, it will likely be a contending team so that Belichick can win games and surpass Shula's win total. The most likely:
1. Chargers.
2. Dallas.


The longshots:
3. Washington--may be willing to pay anything to restore credibility and Belichick grew up in Maryland.
4. Chicago--because of the draft picks and history of franchise.

I'm not buying any of this story....but Dallas is intriguing. Of course, they are rolling pretty good now, but if they stumble again, Jerry could really give Payton the finger by hiring BB.

The Raiders are the only team where this could be true if it is since they have already fired their coach. That being said the Raiders will still be a dumpster fire if he goes there. Belichick has been a poor GM particularly on fixing the offense.
