Nothing against Harper, but I'd prefer to bring in someone who is established in the coaching department. Is Roman Harper a viable candidate? He seemed to be a leader/coach in the locker room. I would like to have former Saints if qualified
Yeah I share that hesitation too. We don't need a setback for sure. I just always thought of Harper as being a coach after his playing days. Seems like a natural, but what do I really know. Maybe it was the white hair that made him look like a coach. I kid.Nothing against Harper, but I'd prefer to bring in someone who is established in the coaching department.
Torn on this one. I’d love for Glenn to move up and continue a successful coaching career. He deserves it. However, as a Saints fan I really don’t want to lose him and the excellent job he has done

Doesn't the team have right of refusal? I seem to recall the Saints wanted someone from the 49rs one season and they refused to let him be interviewed.
Or believes in covering the TE. HeheNothing against Harper, but I'd prefer to bring in someone who is established in the coaching department.
Lame. People often wonder how the pats have the best dynasty going. Easy, their coaches don't leave until AFTER they win a super bowl. They then reload with the best candidates out there. We go to the playoffs for the first time in four years and already talk of us losing coaches. Doesn't compute.
