Based on that list Giants are only threat to us barring a trade

Don’t know anything about the player, not a college football fan outside of lsu

Though don’t want a RB that high or a QB at all due to oline issues

If you add up his total carries his first and second years, it is pretty much equal to his number of carries this past year. Yikes.

Just means he's conditioned for the NFL already and may not hit that massive wear down point that most rookies hit later in their first year.

As for the Cowboys (other posters noted they weren't listed) It's pretty much obvious Jerry Jones massive interest, and given the history of not really caring about character flaws (Dex Bryant for example), throwing in that Jeanty is pretty well known to have great character and tangibles, we all know the Cowboys at the very least will inquire trade up possibilities to possibly draft him.

He'll be gone, highly likely by pick 5, most assuredly no later then pick 7.

It's really hard, to the point of needing to jump hurdles to imagine a world where he gets past Vrabel @4.

This is a new coaching staff so maybe it will be a different result, but the previous coaching staffs going all the way back to Payton couldn't identify talent in the trenches or develop it into anything more than average, if they even got to average. I'd rather go a different direction at #9. Heck, draft a kicker at #9 if he's going to be good. Just not another Edge or O-line that's going to do nothing.

I'm really surprised by this list. I would've thought the NYG would've been the least likely to have interest in Jeanty due to massive holes elsewhere. I personally have him mocked for the Raiders.

Also surprised at the amount of teams lower in the order that are looking at him. If Jeanty were to fall to us allowing us to trade down, that would be a huge win.

Considering this problem existed with both Payton and DA, and all DC's under Payton, there is a trend. And that trend has been so consistent we have to ask if the evaluation talent on the Dline has been the result of the scouts.

I'd rather not draft Dline @9 unless its somehow Graham or Carter, which both seem highly unlikely to still be there @9.

As for the others, Mykel Williams seems like a complete and utter bust waiting to happen while flaws in Pearce's game have been identified to the point that some suspect he could have a massive day 1 drop. I haven't watched Pearce Jr, so I can't really say.

On top of that, one rookie is still miles away from fixing our defense. However, 1 bad to the bone offensive rookie could really help push our offense pending Moore's offensive scheme implemented.
