Nick went live today a little while ago and did a mock draft early on in the session, and when it got to pick 9, he again reiterated that if Jeanty is there at 9, as of today, he firmly believes he will be the pick. He said it with conviction.

Either he knows something, or he is a part of the early stages of an elaborate smokescreen plot.

Nick has said multiple times that we would draft Warren @9. LOL at 1st he said he's draft Campbell till he figured he'd be moved to OG and you don't take a OG @9. Yeah with the way that board fell there's a chance that Jeanty might be the pick, but Warren went #5 and that's been Nick's pick for a while now , my guess is that if Warren was there @9 Nick would have picked him.

Just because they decided not to speak to him doesn’t mean Jerrah doesn’t want him and would trade up for him. I’d swap 1st round picks with Dallas for Micha Parsons

I like Jeanty but look at it this way.

Alvin is playing 60% of your snaps if he's healthy because he's going to be your 3rd down back. There isn't a rookie RB in this draft that's going to beat out Kamara for those duties. That means Jeanty would be splitting time w/ Miller/Clyde Edwards for the other 40%. The only way Jeanty's value is maximized here is if both Alvin, Miller, CEH are all injured and Jeanty becomes the bellcow.

You want a guy who's only takign 40% of the snaps at most at 9?


Jeanty's value is to a team that doesn't have a #1 RB right now. A RB at 9 has value to some team...just not us. Doesn't make much sense when looking at our depth chart.

He’d take those reps away if he would pick up a first down on 1st or 2nd down runs.

I’m sure that Philly’s analytics support it. Between first downs by run on either 1st or 2nd down (predominantly by Barkley) I’m sure that they led the league. That’s how you reduce the reps of a “3rd down” back, you just don’t get to third down or minimize the amount of 3rd down attempts you have per game by being successful on downs 1 & 2.

Jeanty this year qb next year we are getting to the point every team is going to have a qb except for us lol and then we will have our pickings
