Are y’all really in that much denial? Not signing players because you are 70 million over the cap isn’t a reset, it’s a reality. Mickey reminds me of what my dad used to say about my mom’s family. They don’t have 2 nickels to rub together. Mickey has maxed out the credit cards and is broke because of it. The only way to get more money is to make it. Mickeys strategy is bad contract after bad contract with max void years on the back end. I’ll say this again, we’re the only team that operates like this year in and year out. Not because Mickey and Harley are number savants. It’s because the other teams are smart enough to know better.

Makes zero sense to keep Rizzi around. While a reset cannot occur in one offseason, it can begin this offseason and really has to.

That may well be but what coach is going to walk into this train wreck thinking whatever he does will make a difference. A new coach is going to be handcuffed, hobbled and blind folded for a couple of years.

The Saints are not going to be an attractive offer to any coach worth a damn!

The damage is done and it's going to take more than one off season to fix it.

Gotta cut Carr. Only way without restructuring aging vets. I'm far from a Carr hater, but its time to quit pretending we're 1 defensive piece away from competing. Our d is old and not that good anymore (that's what she said). Both our wrs are injury prone and 1 may not play again. We really need to sacrifice next year and clear the cap as much as possible.

That's not how this works. When he made the announcement and we stuck to it... I planted the flag. I mean i can literally find the thread where i planted it.

This is the year that they can't spend any money and have stretched the cap as far as they can take it... This is the year that cap deniers can plant a flag on. Still time for Loomis's pockets to burn holes but so far, we've finally hit the wall.
