This will make me sleep better at night. He's a very decent player, and while Lattimore and Adebo are great starters, without Roby we have no one as a decent backup corner. Roby fills that need. But no way I would give up Adebo or Lattimore in any trade. And we know to our sorrow that draft picks and free agents don't always work out as NFL cornerbacks.

CGJ could be moving back to FS so Tony will be the nickle guy now.

This is my take.
1st I said a while back Roby wasn't getting cut since we gave up a 3rd. That would be dumb.
2nd. Any of the guys that got restructured are basically off the table. All the converted money would hit the books this year. Loomis ain't stupid.
3rd. It will be mostly picks.
And 1 more. Why in the hell would we let CGJ go. We already lost MW. Losing another key piece to the D would be bad.
I also figure we get Mathieu and Landry.

No. Not at this time. Some on here in the past have wanted Williams gone. The man is a baller. He's why we play a lot of man because he can cover sideline to sideline.

We get Mathieu and we will change the scheme a little. Will be fine but will look different.

We were a mediocre defense with CGJ injured for those few games last year.

Roby was actually our highest-graded (by PFF) corner last year. Lattimore was actually our worst. Those off games he seems to have every season where he just seems to lose focus really hurt him.

Weird when I look up their grades Lattimore is a 77 and Roby a 64 but this list shows roby higher

Guys, I don't think we need to freak out about Adebo. Per Nicks Q&A last night, he doesn't think any defensive players were apart of our offer (which obviously has already been accepted) - I don't think there's a chance that Houston is going to be able to squeeze more out of it.

The juice is the picks. If we're sending the three 1sts, we're not losing Chauncey or Adebo.
