Have any of you heard this? First I’m hearing about it, haven’t watched yet, the title just popped up on my cell.
I’m not used to Ross being click bait, have followed him for a while now. He’s too sunshine and roses for me but I like him and haven’t noticed him being click bait.

Seriously doubt anything happens but I’d be all for it. Nothing at all against Carr I just don’t think he’s the future. No problem with him staying another season either tho.

I don't think it makes sense to be shopping your QB while in a HC search unless the first round of interviews indicated a willingness to move on from Carr by some of the candidates. So maybe they're exploring what the market is for him so they have those figures for interviews next week?

Listened to him talk about the HC job and it will be interesting to see who they interview first next week as it could be the org's top choice.

If they would give up their 3 or possibly 2, I'm in there like swimwear.

Not a fan of Ross. I respect him and I do listen to him and John Hendrix from time to time. Like you said he is too rosey for me. But I give him more credit because he is around the team. With regard to Carr I am not the biggest Carr fan, but I am not the haters like some. I will defend him for the unnecessary criticism given. I know how he is way before we sign him. Wasn't all too excited about signing him but he was the best available within our price range. Admit it or not, he has been good. Looking at his games and the numbers, it was very good. It could of been better, but whatever. His situation is very tricky. I am all for what's best for the team. If a trade is offer and helps us to relieve our cap situation, then I hope both sides do it. Carr needs a fresh start and we need to move forward. As much as a good quarterback is needed which he is, everyone knows he isn't the future. Might as well start the future now.

I'll take a bag of peanuts and a miller lite
I’ll take the peanuts and send ya the miller lite lol.
Welcome to the offseason, where media guys have nothing to talk about so they just make things up.
Yeah could be the case but I’m not used to seeing headlines like that from Ross. Maybe I just don’t pay enough attention.

If they take the salary I’d give them a 4th, maybe a 3rd
Definitely a consideration. Is Carr's salary bubble still smaller than Daniel Jones' 2024 salary? I had thought Carr's salary per-year was pretty cheap for a starting NFL QB, but I don't know how loaded Carr's 2025 and 2026 numbers are.

This would be wonderful but I don't think it will happen. Nobody wants Derek Carr. Especially not as a leader or face of the franchise. He chokes in big moments, always wants to be on the microphone and publicaly berates his teammates (see Chris Olave).
Not to mention, he has a no trade clause. Would he even want to go to the Giants?
