In my opinion... They should demo that arena and start over again. Wasting money to renovate the worst arena in the league and STILL be the worst is a foundational issue. But I digress on that.

I would much prefer that to building on the river. The present location is perfect.

As for the back-and-forth, it sounds like a lot of posturing. Hopefully that's all it is.

Agreed, but where would they play in the interim? UNO? Fogelman?
Construction projects in NOLA tend to take way longer than projected. You’d likely be looking at 8-10 years from demo to replacement.
