Saints are flying Kafka and Weaver in for 2nd interviews [Interviews completed] (9 Viewers)

And your point is? Obviously, fans don't hire or fire coaches, so their opinions and evaluations of coaches are irrelevant and do not tell us anything about how GM's, coaches and owners see McCarthy.

Have you heard anyone quote a GM, coach. or owner who says McCarthy is not a good coach, besides Dallas and Green Bay?

I value the opinions and evaluations of GM's, owners and coaches over fans. I haven't heard any current or former GM, owner or coach say anything negative about McCarthy during this process. Have you? Please share what you've heard if you have.

I have never heard a GM, coach, or owner say any NFL HC is “bad”. It’s extremely unprofessional. There is a mechanism to suggest they don’t think he is good enough. It is firing them or not renewing their contract…

I don't know enough about these two coaches to have an opinion. But I do like that we are considering candidates who are not necessarily at the top of their national lists. If they think one of these two is the right guy, they should go for it. Apparently, both have been impressive in interview with multiple teams in recent years.
RJ we are talking about Loomis here.

Hire Weaver as HC and Kafka as OC/Asst HC. Problem solved. Weaver reminds me of guy like Tomlin and SP when he first got here. A guy that commands the respect of his team.

Kafka is already OC/Asst HC with the Giants.

You mean like Payton did about his predecessor in Denver? Don't have to use the exact word "bad" to say you think someone is bad at what they do.

Fired by Green Bay. (not good enough)
Hired by Dallas. (good enough)
Dallas tried to bring him back, but they couldn't agree on new contract. (good enough to try to get back, but not good enough to agree to all terms)

I've not seen or heard anything to suggest the other 30 NFL teams. that aren't Green Bay or Dallas, share your opinion that McCarthy is not a "good enough" head coach.

Defensive head coach, Bill Belichick, made Brady better?
I alluded earlier to the Patriot Way being a major contributor to the NE success, and I stand by it. Brady’s first 3 SB seasons he averaged about 210 yards per game.

Brady was a different animal when it comes to obsession with football and continuously getting even better, so no - just like what I acknowledge with Joe Brady/Burrow, I don’t think he needed that mentor after a while. But make no mistake, Brady benefitted from Belichick..
